PRE-CRUISE PLANNING
Once you receive your cruise reservation number, you can purchase add-ons ahead of time by visiting Royal Caribbean’s website or by using the Royal App.
Shore Excursions: To book ahead of time, you will need your cruise reservation number, ship name/sailing date and a credit card for payment. You can also book by visiting the shore excursion desk (deck 5) onboard during the cruise.
*It is recommended to book excursions ahead of time as popular tours may sell out.
Specialty Dining Reservations: To book ahead of time you will need your cruise reservation number, last name of the primary guest and a credit card for payment. Reservations for individual specialty dining can be made from 90 days up to 2 days before sailing.
*It is recommended to book early as popular specialty restaurants sell out quickly.
Spa Treatments: To book ahead of time you will need your cruise reservation number and a credit card for payment. Pre-cruise bookings for spa services often close about 3 days prior to sailing. If you cannot book ahead, you can visit the spa (deck 5) on embarkation day to schedule services. A 20% gratuity is usually added to the purchase price of treatments.
*It is recommended to book early to secure preferred, limited or high demand slots.
Once you receive your cruise reservation number, you can make show reservations ahead of time by visiting Royal Caribbean’s website or by using the Royal App, usually opening on the first day of the month before sailing. Pre-reservations usually close 4 days before the sail date. If you cannot book in advance, you can still wait in the standby line, which often moves quickly, by arriving 15–30 minutes early.
* Show reservations are free, but failing to show up for a booked show might incur a fee if not cancelled.
No, if you would like a drink package you will need to purchase it yourself. If you want to purchase a drink package it is recommended that you purchase drink packages through Cruise Planner before sailing to save on cost.
After the group’s rooming list has been sent in and Royal Caribbean has booked the reservations, you will be emailed your cruise reservation number.

CRUISE EMBARKATION
You are responsible to make sure you have all the required travel documents to board the ship.
- Health Status Questionnaire: to be completed on the Royal Caribbean app before you board.
- Government Identification: Passport that is valid for six months after the day your cruise ends.
- Travel Visas (if applicable): Visa requirements vary depending on nationality and the country you are sailing from, see guidance here.
Our cruise departs from Port Canaveral, Florida. Passengers will receive e-docs 45 days before sailing with information on terminal and parking.
No, you are responsible for your transportation between the airport or hotel and the cruise ship.
The Orlando Airport (MCO) is a 45-60 minute ride to Port Canaveral. Choosing a reliable mode of transportation is important to ensure you board the ship on time.
Transfers Options:
- Purchase directly through Royal Caribbean. It is recommended that transfers are purchased 2 weeks prior to sailing.
Once you have your booking ID, you can log into the Royal Caribbean app or go online to access a pre-cruise transfer purchase. You can also call pre-cruise planner at (800) 398-9819 to help with transfer purchases.
- Reserve a shuttle ahead of time through a service like Go Port.
- Arrange a rideshare service like Uber (typically takes 45 minutes, costs $78).
Guests should arrive at the terminal within the arrival time slot you selected during Royal App check-in. Your arrival time is listed on your mobile boarding pass. Those who arrive early will not be able to begin boarding, and those who arrive late will need to wait until we are able to work them into another group.
Due to government regulations requiring cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, guests are requested to complete Check-in no later than 3 days prior to their cruise.
Please note: All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you will not be permitted to sail.
* Don’t forget to hand carry your passport, SetSail Pass, valuables and medications in your carry-on bag. You’ll need your passport, visa (if applicable) and SetSail Pass to board the ship.
The SetSail Pass acts as your authorization to enter the cruise terminal and scan into the ship. You can obtain your SetSail Pass by complete your online check-in via the Royal Caribbean App or website. It can be printed (paper) or shown digitally within the app. It usually displays the primary guest's name, booking information, and indicates the number of people in the party.
